Casemakers first print in flexo each colour required by the design. Cut of case's shape is performed in a rotary die cutter, which comprises a cylinder mounted with a cutting plate and an anvil cylinder. The anvil acts as a cutting plate, allowing cutting knives to penetrate the corrugated substrate and the creasing rules to create well defined creases. Waste is then stripped and finally a case ia formed in the folder gluer section.
